Most of the space is tools BimCode sets up once, on the first install.

What's included

One install. Everything BimCode does.

What runs on the free plan and what comes with a paid one, up front.

  • BimCode inside Revit

A BimCode tab on the ribbon and a pane that docks beside your model — where you talk to BimCode and launch your plugins.

  • Built-in plugins

Made by BimCode — Render Studio, Path Array, Colorizer and more. A selection runs on the free plan; the first paid plan runs all of them.

  • The community hub

Plugins other people built with BimCode, reviewed before they're listed. Browse them free; install and run them on paid plans.

  • Your own plugins

Describe the plugin you need and BimCode builds it and installs it on your ribbon, every step saved so you can go back. On the plans that include AI.

Updates arrive inside Revit — no need to come back here.

Install

Three steps, and it's on your ribbon.

Nothing to configure and nothing else to install — the installer sets up what BimCode needs on its own.

  1. 1

    Close Revit

If it's open. Revit builds its ribbon at start-up, so the new tab shows on the next launch.

  2. 2

    Run the installer

It finds your Revit versions and ticks them for you, then installs for your user account — no admin rights needed.

  3. 3

    Open Revit

A BimCode tab is on the ribbon, in every version you ticked. That's the install.

  4. Done

    Your ribbon

Windows SmartScreen may show a notice the first time you run the installer — choose More info, then Run anyway.

After install

Sign in once. Then run a plugin.

Everything after the installer happens inside Revit.

  1. 1

    Sign in inside Revit

Click BimCode on the ribbon and sign in. Your browser opens to confirm it's you, then hands you back to Revit, signed in.

  2. 2

    Run your first plugin

The built-in plugins on your plan arrive on their own once you're signed in. Pick one and run it on the model you have open.

  3. 3

    Then ask for your own

Describe the plugin you need in the pane. On the plans that include AI, BimCode plans it, builds it and installs it on your ribbon.
